The yellow train, also known locally as “the Canary” by its colour, is the highest meter gauge* railway in Europe! The line connects the Villefranche – Vernet-les-Bains station to the Latour-de-Carol – Enveitg station via Font-Romeu, following the Têt valley then crossing the Cerdagne plateau.

The line is from 1er February 2002 included by UNESCO on the Tentative List of World Heritage Sites

*the gauge of the rails is 1 meter
