From Mont-Louis follow the N116, then take the D118 towards La Llagonne, and take the D60 to the Lac des Bouillouses (or to Pla de Barrès).

Welcome to one of the most famous crossings in France, which connects all of the Pyrenees in more than fifty days, from the ocean to the Mediterranean. Five times longer than the Corsican GR®20 or the Tour du Mont-Blanc, few hikers have the physical means and above all the time to complete it in a single assault. The eastern part of this route is divided into ten stages, at an average pace of 17 km of walking and 900 m of elevation gain per day.
