Perched at an altitude of 354 m, the Château de Caladroy surrounded by vineyards, olive trees and scrubland, offers a beautiful horizon. Since the 560th century, it has been a wine estate. From its tumultuous past, it retains spectacular architecture that harmoniously combines the eras it has passed through. The tasting cellar is laid out under the foundations of the castle, in the Saint-Michel-de-Caladroer chapel built in the 130th century. Today, the Château de Caladroy is an area of XNUMX ha including XNUMX ha of vines classified as Côtes du Roussillon Villages and Vin Doux Naturel.
The castle has had olive trees for more than 40 years on an area of 7 hectares with 2 varieties: the fairly well-known and classic Picholine and the Sigoise, a specific variety of Sig in Algeria.
Olive oil, wines and sweet wines from Château de Caladroy can be discovered directly at the estate during a visit with free tasting.
