Created in 2013, ABIES LAGRIMUS has enabled the preservation and relaunch of an ancestral recipe from the Pyrenees: Sapin Syrup.
From cones and buds of Abies Alba fir trees, harvested by hand in the high mountains at an altitude of more than 1700 m, we produce our products in our Atelier de Sahorre, in the heart of the Natural Park of the Catalan Pyrenees.
Loaded with essential oils, oleoresin and polyphenols, fir syrup is as good for your health as it is for use in the kitchen. We have been certified organic since 2015.
We offer a full range of unique and original products: fir tree syrup, fir balsamic vinegar and cream, fir pepper, fir liqueur, and our canigou nuggets and Canigo Pop lollipops.
Today, our products are used in France and Europe by many Great Chefs and also present in many delicatessens.
The workshop can be visited out of season by appointment and on fixed days in season.
