CLIMBING SITE IN THE GORGES DU CADY

Site equipped by the French Alpine Club of Prades Canigo.
The site is suitable for beginners / families (with children) / clubs... for fun climbing in a bucolic setting by the river (swimming however prohibited).
The periods are spring (from April, summer (cool sector) and autumn until December, winter stays in the shade. The site is sheltered from the tramontane.
Granite rock with routes of several lengths but also rinds; equipment is plentiful with chains at the belays. Descents are possible by abseiling.
Access: in the village of casteil, take the direction of "Massif du Canigou", 500m from the car park before crossing a small bridge. On foot, take the Cady waterfall path opposite the car park for 5 minutes.
