MIR'S TOWER
MIR'S TOWER
2

Located at an altitude of 1540 meters, the Tour du Mir is mentioned for the first time in the 2009th century. This signal tower made it possible to monitor the Ares pass and to communicate through fires or smoke with the Cabrenç, Cos and Guardia towers (in the center of Fort Lagarde). It is a popular hiking objective. There you can enjoy a magnificent panorama over the ridges and the valley, far down to the sea. This building was restored during the winter of XNUMX and regained its original appearance with the reconstruction of its annular jacket. The installation of solar panels allowed night lighting of the tower.
