The Church of St. Mary in Riquer is mentioned as early as the 10th century. The building was rebuilt during the 11th century. It has undergone few modifications since 1073. The church is a listed historical monument; its south portal is decorated with frescoes, probably dating from the second half of the 12th century. The chapel hosts the Riquer Cultural Encounters every summer. Visits by appointment.
