Designed to monitor the Franco-Spanish border, Fort Lagarde overlooks the fortified town of Prats de Mollo. At the heart of the monument, a medieval signal tower dominates the keep, reinforced from 1686 by Vauban. A military retreat route connects the Fort to the town, creating a remarkable architectural ensemble. Different modes of discovery: individual visit, tactile visit, guided tour, narrated tour, animated tour "The Fort takes care" (see the calendar of festivities)...
