A Benedictine abbey founded in 778, the Abbey of Sainte-Marie can boast of being the oldest Carolingian abbey in Catalonia. The Romanesque church with three naves houses a large XNUMXth century Schmidt organ. The XNUMXth century Gothic cloister is attached to the church. On the forecourt of the church, a holy tomb, a XNUMXth century sarcophagus, has inexplicably secreted clear water since it housed the relics of Saints Abdon and Sennen.
