COUNTRY OF ART AND HISTORY CONFLENT CANIGÓ

The Conflent Canigó Country of Art and History brings together 45 municipalities. The community of municipalities leading the project obtained the label in 2021. It highlights the heritage riches of the territory, which are both natural (reserves, regional natural park) and artistic (Romanesque abbeys and Baroque churches). The label commits the Cities and Countries of Art and History to developing a cultural and tourism policy based on heritage, which is expressed in particular in:

-raising awareness among residents and professionals

-Initiation of young audiences

-Offer to the tourist public

-Educational service of the Country of art and history
