BATERE REFUGE

Located at an altitude of 1 m, on the mythical Canigó massif classified as a Grand Site de France, it is an old building from the Batère mines rehabilitated into a gîte and inn. Stage on the GR 470, the HRP, the Tour du Canigó and the Tour du Haut Vallespir, it offers a breathtaking view of the reliefs of Haut Vallespir and southern Catalonia, you can also see the Mediterranean... You will be welcomed in an atmosphere convivial for a gourmet meal, a hiker's stopover evening or a stay.
Accessible by car, Batère is the ideal place in the heart of nature for family holidays, outings with friends, groups, and getaways for two. The refuge is transformed into a restaurant, on Sunday lunchtimes, allowing you to enjoy the sun, walks and photographic exhibitions hosted on site.
