The Têt has its source at the foot of Carlit (2 metres). In the hollow of this valley which widens as one follows the course of the river, the water slips from the Catalan reliefs of Cerdagne then from Conflent to Riberal and ends its course through the plain of Roussillon before to flow into the Mediterranean Sea. From the balconies that delimit the north bank of the Têt valley, the Canigó imposes itself on the landscape, impressive and majestic.
