The Batera sector is located on the southern slope of the Massif, at the foot of the Serra del Roc Nègre . The entrance to the site is at the Batera Refuge at an altitude of 1,465 meters. It can be reached from Arles-sur-Tech via the D43, passing through Corsavy. A track starts from the Col de Palomera and passes by the Batera Tower. Alternatively, it can be reached on foot via the GR10 long-distance hiking trail.
