Discover the natural treasures of Vallespir through a series of activities for young and old. Storytelling walks, bird of prey watching, exploring the fascinating world of insects, bats or moths, not forgetting the traditional Mushroom Festival: so many opportunities to take a fresh look at the fauna and flora that surround us.

BOTANICAL STORY WALK
Monday, July 06th, from 10am to 16pm
We will walk at the pace of the flowers. Among the trees, the wild grasses, and the bushes. We will see them sing. In rich costumes or almost undressed, they will become passersby, passengers of a dream, prisoners of the cold, fallen princesses, or queens of the shadows. A guided hike departing from the Conques refuge – storytelling, song, accordion, alto flute with Estelle Cantala, Cie Le Cri de la Miette.
Children aged 6 and over must be accompanied by an adult.

A WALK TO DISCOVER BIRDS OF PREY
Thursdays, July 09th, 30th, August 20th and September 10th, from 10am to 16pm

Observation and presentation of the largest bird species in Europe present in Vallespir, their biology, the threats they face.

NATURE RALLY: DISCOVERING INSECTS
Wednesday, July 15th, Wednesday, August 05th and 17th, from 10am to 16pm
Explore an insect discovery trail with your family and try to solve the mystery riddle. Activity duration: 2-3 hours (self-guided)

DISCOVERING BATS
Thursday, July 23rd and Thursday, August 06th, from 21pm to 23:30pm
Presentation of the Altichyro program and screening of a short film followed by a walk to listen to the bats with Boris BALLAT, specialist in chiroptera.

MOTH OBSERVATION
Tuesday, July 28th, from 20:45 PM to 1 AM
Evening of moth and other insect observation organized by Le Ver Bleu

"NIGHT IN THE FOREST"
Tuesday, August 11th, from 20 PM to 23:30 PM

MUSHROOM FESTIVAL
September 20th, from 9:30 am to 16:30 pm
Mushroom foraging guided by specialists from the André Marchand Mycological Society. The aim is to recognize and identify mushrooms, learn about precautions, and understand resource management. Exhibition and lecture: a feast for the eyes!
