This route slips between the Riuferrer Valley and that of Bonobosc very shaded and cool in summer, on a south-facing slope, however, so pleasant in winter. It offers a plunging view of the Romanesque city ofArles-sur-Tech where the bell tower of the Abbey of Santa Maria, the oldest abbey founded in Catalonia, and the bell tower of Saint Sauveur Church.
In town, a visit to the old mill, once a weaving factory converted into craft workshops, will remind you of the flourishing, high-quality industry that was for a long time a source of economy for Haut Vallespir.
