This is a beautiful village in Vallespir. There you'll find a remarkable little museum with animated display cases explaining Catalan ironwork. In the heart of the village, behind the church, is the "Conjurador," a 14th-century building used to ward off bad weather. As for the Romanesque church made of pink granite, it dates back to the 11th century. Its choir is adorned with a Baroque altarpiece. The Towers of Cabrenç Oriol, Lord of Cortsaví, had his castle built around the 10th century on top of a rocky peak.
