From the fourth kilometer of this hike, you will begin exploring the remains of the former Menerots mining site, an open-pit mining site that reached its peak between 1900 and 1930. You will first pass by the Casa del Rey, which served as the foreman's residence. Then, around a bend in the trail, you will suddenly discover the roasting oven, nestled just below a vast stockpile of ore.
