PRATS DE MOLLO LA PRESTE NATURE RESERVE

Created on March 14, 1986, the Prats-de-Mollo-La-Preste Nature Reserve covers 2394 ha from 1500 to 2500 m above sea level. The objective of this classification is to protect a set of natural habitats where exceptional flora (Beech, Fir, Lapeyrouse Violet, etc.) and fauna (Isard, Wild Cat, Bearded Vulture) composed of rare and original species develop. Landscapes to enjoy on hikes, to share and to respect! Discover two magnificent interpretive trails. One allows you to observe the curiosities of the forest in the mountains and the second to set off on the path of the Mitg summer pasture with, at the end, a breathtaking view to the sea and an orientation table!
