The beginning of the Gorges de la Carança is located in the town of Thuès between Valls. These vertiginous gorges are the starting point for hikes to the lake of the same name.
The discovery of the gorges is possible on foot, via footbridges and passages in ledges dug in 1943 in order to serve the construction site during the drilling of the tunnel capturing the waters of the Carança to supply the hydroelectric plant of Thuès.
