Departure: In front of the Place de l’Église de Montferrer. Cross the village by the main street (pass in front of the Town Hall and the Bistrot de Pays / Cap 330).
600 m: At the intersection of the Arles-sur-Tech (D54) and Corsavy (D44) roads, climb the path that starts in the undergrowth towards the left (Cap 20). This path successively intersects 3 perpendicular tracks.
1,88 km: Turn left (Cap 250), further on at a crossroads of tracks, go straight up through the meadow (Cap 260).
3,00 km: The route reached joins the first ruins of the castle. Go around these ruins on the right.
3,55 km: At the top of Puig de Villefort, continue to climb gradually straight ahead in the middle of a forest clearing (Cap 260).
3,80 km: Leave the clearing to re-enter the undergrowth towards the right (Cap 240).
4,05 km: Come out onto the track that goes up to Font del Brigader and the La Souque massif. Then start the descent to Montferrer.
4,95 km: Take the road on the left (Cap 70).
6,90 km: Join Montferrer by the VC2 and turn left onto the D44.
