From Arles-sur-Tech, follow the direction of Prats-de-Mollo-la-Preste then the D43 towards Corsavy, to the Refuge de Batera (or Coll de la Descarga in winter).

This very aerial hike begins with the discovery of the Batera mining area. You will first take the famous GR®10 then walk along the ridgeline admiring splendid viewpoints over the valleys of Haut Vallespir and Roussillon, Conflent and southern Catalonia. Finally, you will discover the Torre de Batera, an essential element of the network of signal towers of the kingdoms of Majorca and Catalonia-Aragon.
