From Amélie-les-Bains-Palalda, follow the direction of Taulis / Saint Marsal / La Bastide (D618), to the village of La Bastide.

This ascent will take you to the Torre de Batera. During the first part of this hike, you will evolve in an open environment, conducive to beautiful views of the Plaine du Roussillon and the Hautes Aspres. From Les Menerots, the climb through the undergrowth becomes steeper. The Torre de Batera, the highest point of the itinerary, will allow you to enjoy an exceptional panorama over the Roussillon Plain, the Mediterranean Sea and the Vallespir Valley.
